Week of August 9
This past week saw people reeling from the mass shootings that occurred in El Paso and Dayton. On this week’s episode of One Thing You Missed, I talk about the power of words and the rhetoric that so often lies behind these horrendous tragedies. Whether it is hate-fueled White Nationalism or some other noxious ideology, Christians must be ready to confront such things and speak a better word—in this case the very words of life.
